2021 Scholarship Announcement

  

The 2021 Alliance of Illinois Judges Scholarship Committee is awarding financial scholarships to LGBTQ+ Law Students. The Alliance of Illinois Judges wants to provide assistance to LGBTQ Law Students as they endeavor to enter the field of law.

 

Any LGBTQ+ law student who will be attending any accredited Illinois law school during the 2021-2022 school year is encouraged to apply. 

 

To apply, please submit the following information to the AIJ Scholarship Committee: 

  • A current resume;
  • Your law school transcript;
  • A personal statement addressing your experience as an LGBTQ+ person, your commitment and contributions to the LGBTQ+ community, and your financial need.

Materials should be sent as attachments in an email to: mary.roberts@cookcountyil.gov 

The subject line should state, “AIJ Scholarship Committee.” 

 

The deadline for submission is June 4, 2021.

 

The AIJ scholarships will be awarded at the AIJ Annual Meeting in June.
